Connect your domain.

A domain is the part after @, such as yourbusiness.com. Kwiller hosts your email. Your domain registration and website stay with their current providers.

  1. Have a domain you control.

If you don’t own one yet, register it with a domain registrar. You need access to its DNS settings; this may be at your registrar, Cloudflare or another DNS provider.

  2. Choose quantities and sign in.

In Get Started, choose how many mailboxes and domains you need, plus any extra storage. Sign in if you already have an account, or create one using a recovery inbox outside the domain you will host. Domain names and email addresses are configured after payment.

  3. Verify your email and complete checkout.

Open the link emailed to your recovery inbox, review your recurring price and pay. Your purchased capacity appears in My Account; no DNS or mailbox configuration is required before checkout.

  4. Connect a domain and create mailboxes.

In My Account, use Connect a purchased domain, add its ownership TXT record and confirm. Then use Create a purchased mailbox, choose one of your connected domains and allocate storage. Set its password when ready. Configuration uses the capacity you already bought; it does not change your bill.

One mailbox and one domain cost US$3/month and include 10GB shared storage. Mailboxes cost US$2/month each; the first domain costs US$1/month and further domains cost US$2/month each. Each custom domain includes 20 aliases. Domain registration is separate.

Add your DNS records.

Use the domain-specific records in My Account. After payment and domain connection, the records appear under My Account → Mailboxes & domains → Domain DNS records. Ownership verification and mail routing are separate steps.

RecordHost / nameWhat to enter
Ownership TXTThe verification host in your setupCopy your unique verification value exactly. Keep this record while the domain is connected.
MX@ or your domainTarget mail.kwiller.com, priority 10. If your DNS provider has a separate priority field, don’t include “10” in the target field.
SPF TXT@ or your domainCopy the SPF value from your setup. If you already have SPF, combine your approved senders into one record.
DKIM TXTThe selector shown in your setupCopy the whole public key for this domain. Don’t use a key from another domain.
DMARC TXT_dmarcCopy the initial policy from your setup. It helps receiving providers evaluate mail sent from your domain.
  • Some providers append your domain automatically: enter _dmarc rather than _dmarc.yourbusiness.com when that is how their host field works.
  • Create the mailboxes you need before replacing your old provider’s MX records. Changing MX moves new incoming mail; it does not import old messages.
  • Your website’s A and CNAME records can stay as they are. Use mail.kwiller.com for webmail and mail apps; no custom mail hostname is required.
  • Select Check mail DNS after saving. DNS caches can take time to update, so a record may briefly show “needs checking”.

Use your mailbox.

Open webmail and sign in with your full mailbox address and mailbox password. This is different from the emailed sign-in link you use for billing and domains.

Mail app settingValue
Incoming server (IMAP)mail.kwiller.com · port 993 · SSL/TLS
Outgoing server (SMTP)mail.kwiller.com · port 587 · STARTTLS · authentication required

PasswordYour mailbox password, or an app password if you have created one

Mailbox settings contains password, two-factor and app-password controls. In webmail, the wrench icon opens these settings. The gear beside your mailbox name opens webmail preferences, including signatures and mail display options.

Choose your colors and display mode.

Select Appearance on the mailbox sign-in screen or in the webmail toolbar. On phones, webmail shows a split-circle icon for this button. The same control is available in mailbox settings and administration.

Choose an accent color, then Light, Dark or Match my device. Changes appear immediately. Select Done to close the control, or Use defaults to return to blue and your device’s display mode.

Preferences are saved in this browser on mail.kwiller.com. They don’t change other users’ screens, your outgoing emails or the contents of received messages. Use Appearance again on another device.

Manage your account and team.

Where to sign inWhat it is for
My AccountBilling, connected domains, mailbox passwords, domain aliases and shared storage allocation. Sign in using the link emailed to your contact address.
WebmailEmail, contacts and calendar for one mailbox. Sign in with its full email address and password.
System administrationKwiller staff operations. Being the owner of a customer account does not grant system administrator access.

In My Account, select Manage billing for payment details, invoices and cancellation. Your mailbox section lets you change Mailbox passwords, Create a domain alias, Allocate shared storage and Check domain connection. For an additional paid mailbox, domain, storage or alias capacity, select Buy more resources. Choose quantities, review the new monthly subtotal and the charge for the rest of the billing period, then accept the terms and continue to checkout. Domain ownership is verified afterward when you configure a purchased domain. Paid capacity appears in My Account. Connect your domains and create your mailbox addresses there. Small remaining-period charges below US$0.50 are waived. The quoted recurring price starts at the next renewal. Use Request help, migration or removal for changes that require review.

An alias, such as sales@yourbusiness.com, delivers to an existing mailbox. It does not have its own password or separate inbox. Aliases belong to a domain; each custom domain includes 20. Extra alias packs contain 20 for US$1/month.

Storage add-ons apply to the whole account. Use Allocate shared storage to divide the existing paid pool among your mailboxes. Allocation does not change your bill and cannot be below current mailbox usage.

If something doesn’t work.

I can’t sign in to webmail.
Use the full mailbox address, not your billing contact email. Check that activation is complete and you have set a mailbox password. Continue your setup using the emailed account link if needed.
My domain isn’t receiving mail.
Check ownership verification, mailbox activation and the MX record shown in your setup. Make sure old MX records are removed when you move incoming mail to Kwiller.
I can receive but can’t send.
Check your sending status. Outgoing mail may require approval or may be restricted by account limits. Contact support if the status does not explain it.
My logo or signature doesn’t appear.
Check both saves: OK in the identity dialog, then Save in preferences. Use HTML composing and enable the signature for new messages. Plain text messages cannot display an image.
I’m using multiple roles on one computer.
Use separate browser profiles for mailbox, customer owner and staff accounts. Tabs in the same browser profile share login cookies.
